Resolve
Salvage Tug

Due to the depletion of the naval tug during WWI, the Royal Navy decided to replace the older tugs with several classes of purpose built tugs.  The largest of these was the Resolve class.  Six were built between 1917 and 1919.  Fitted with a 12pdr gun, it was to help defend convoys and costal tows.  It was broken up in 1950.
