The new RX-SYNTH-IPD receivers combine the advantages of IPD circuitry -a MULTIPLEX development –with Synthesizer technology: a method of selecting spot frequencies without using crystals.

Unrestricted channel selection using a Synthesizer 

- You’ll never need a crystal again!

All RX-SYNTH-IPD receivers are fitted with a programming button and LED. Holding the button pressed in when you switch on the receiver causes it to operate in Channel Search mode; the receiver then seeks the RF channel with the greatest field strength. This means that the associated transmitter must already be switched on, and must be positioned immediately adjacent to the receiver. The LED lights up to indicate that it has found an RF channel. The next stage is a plausibility check (pilot moves the transmitter stick repeatedly to its end-points), which ensures that the receiver has located the correct spot frequency. The LED confirms this, and the receiver stores the RF channel. If the receiver is now switched off, then on again, it is ready for use on the spot frequency it has just “learned “.The entire process takes just a few seconds and the RF channel remains stored permanently in the receiver until you set a new RF channel.

A miniature, high-quality, six-channel single-conversion Synthesizer FM / PPM receiver. Synthesizer technology provides maximum possible flexibility in terms of RF channel (spot frequency) selection. No plug-in crystals are required; the receiver is set to the appropriate reception channel using the familiar, proven process adopted for all our RX-SYNTH receivers. High-End dual-conversion IPD receivers exploiting modern Synthesizer technology, offering the demanding model pilot 9 and 12 channels respectively.

The FM/PPM transmission system transmits all 12 channels (requires 12-channel receiver) simultaneously at equal value (i.e. constant speed and resolution). Both receivers feature an integral battery backer based on the proven, durable Schottky diode method; this means that a dual power supply can be used, based on two receiver batteries.

With the integral LED and press-button the following functions can be carried out:

High-quality 5-channel single-conversion IPD receiver incorporating Synthesizer technology, for use in all branches of model car and boat racing. The compact dimensions of this receiver make it simple to install in 1:12 and 1:10 scale model cars. The aerial is a very convenient length at just 450 mm.

As the receiver has a full five channels it is also suitable for use in 1:5 scale models, where the unique functions of the MULTIPLEX PROFI CAR 707 can be exploited to the full.

All MULTIPLEX RX-SYNTH IPD receivers are based on modern micro-controllers (FLASH technology), making it possible to connect them to a PC or notebook computer with the help of this PC cable. As with ROYAL EVO  transmitters, the MULTIPLEX website also features a downloadable PC program for RX-SYNTH receivers (RX-SYNTH Data Manager); this program opens up numerous additional possibilities with the RX-SYNTH receiver.

The receiver software can quickly and easily be brought up to the current state of development when innovations are introduced (current version:V1.1x, required for use with RX-SYNTH Data Manager).

 Ideal for open flying events: all channels on the frequency band are displayed graphically in an unambiguous format. Includes alarm and logbook functions.

Glitch counter /memory read-out

Number of signal errors, field strength errors and battery errors can be read out and assessed individually.
