The scanner module can be installed in any MULTIPLEX ROYAL evo transmitter which is fitted with an HFM-S Synthesizer RF module. It enables the user to search the transmitter ’s frequency band for channels which are already in use. The channels in use, and the field strength of each transmitter, are displayed in a clear graphic (bar) form on the transmitter screen. When you switch the transmitter on the scanner also checks automatically whether your selected transmission channel is free.  

The transmitter only activates the RF module (power-on guard) if that channel is actually vacant. This is an extremely useful aid, and represents a major contribution to improved security in model sport. The scanner module can be installed very easily at any time; it is simply plugged onto the HFM-S Synthesizer RF module.

35 or 40 MHz Synthesizer module

The HFM-S Synthesizer RF module is the ground-breaking alternative for all ROYAL evo transmitters, replacing the HFM-4 crystal RF module. It is of particular interest to all modellers who have to switch channels regularly. The module requires no transmitter crystals at all: the channel is selected simply and conveniently by software. Your chosen channel is set on the transmitter in a Channel Select menu. Switching channels changes nothing in respect of transmission mode (FM-PPM). All receivers which work with a conventional crystal-RF-module (eg. HFM-4) can be used.

The HFM-S module can be installed at any time; the transmitter automatically detects the module when you switch it on. An optional scanner module can also be added at any time.

Caution: transmitters may only be operated on the channels / frequencies which are approved for your country. Before using the equipment check the regulations which apply where you operate your models.  

Please Note - use surgical rubber gloves when installing this unit to prevent static discharge damage.

The software uses the user-friendly Windows operating system, and all settings are shown in a clear form
on-screen, where they can easily be changed.
