Elegant semi-scale lines combined with truly user-friendly flying characteristics, good-natured handling and robust construction make the robbe Cardinal the ideal first modelling project. Other strong features of the Cardinal include a good climb rate and a fine glide. This high-winger can also be flown safely at quite low speeds, making landings particularly easy.


The Robbe design team was charged with the task of producing an airframe of low weight combined with good mechanical strength, and their answer was a new type of material for the moulded foam components which reduces the risk of accident damage to a minimum. The battery is accessible from the underside of the fuselage, without having to remove the wing, making battery access quick and easy for swapping or recharging the pack. If a smooth strip is available, the model is easily capable of ground take-off.
