sprightly fun model with its jet-type appearance will delight any experienced RC
pilot. Here is a model which provides maximum flying fun for minimum effort.
Even on the ground the Hunter’s unconventional appearance attracts
everyone’s attention. Once in the air, the model always looks unusual and
elegant, whether sweeping round close to the ground, steeply banked, rolling,
looping, or flying inverted. Despite its agility, the model is always under the
pilot’s full control at both extremes of its broad speed range. You will be
surprised how well it glides, especially on the landing approach. The fuselage
itself makes an important contribution to the model’s relatively high lift, as
does the refined overall aerodynamic design. With its low wing loading and
rear-mounted propeller, the Hunter’s power requirement is so slight that a
400-size motor is perfectly adequate. For directional control the control
surfaces can either be actuated in the conventional way, or you can set up
tailerons (combined ailerons and elevators on the tailplane). Alternatively
ailerons can be fitted in the wings. The model is simple to hand-launch. The
Hunter’s compact dimensions and layout allow it to fit neatly into any car
boot, and the one-piece design eliminates all the bother of assembly at the
flying site. The moulded foam components are manufactured in CNC-machined metal
moulds, and are therefore extremely accurate. The mouldings include integral
wells for internal and external fittings, removing any risk of building errors,
and make it possible to complete the model quickly. For final decoration a large
decal sheet is included in the kit.
