a slope racer, an electric glider or a hot-line machine, this is the model
for you. The Impression features a carefully optimized aerodynamic layout,
affording 
the
model a very broad effective speed range, and even at quite high wing loadings
the Impression offers smooth, docile handling at low speeds. At the slope
the model can be thrown around without inhibition, provided that the right
amount of lead ballast is fitted for the conditions. The thermal hunters
among you will appreciate the model's good gliding characteristics when
leaving one thermal bubble and looking for the next. Whether you prefer
gentle electric gliding with 10 NC cells, or exciting high-speed flying
with 12-16 NC cells, the Impression always gives you maximum possible flying
pleasure.
The wing
features a competition-proven wing section designed by Hannes Delago which
provides a great excess of performance for effortless aerobatics, while
the relatively long moment arm keeps the maneuvers smooth. The model's
sleek, impressive appearance makes it look fast even when it is nestling
in the grass.
The design
The
model reflects its origins in CAD design techniques, and is manufactured
using the latest production technology; for example, the wings are bonded 
under
pressure in CNC machined metal moulds, ensuring that the wing airfoil is
maintained with great fidelity. After this the final processes on the wing
are completed using a CNC machining robot. The aileron slots are machine-cut
and pre-lined, and the ailerons permanently attached to the wing by a woven
fabric insert acting as the hinge. The white pigmented GRP fuselage features
integral cooling shrouds, M5 threaded sockets for wing retention, and a
neat support for the profile-machined tailplane. A CFRP canopy rounds off
this highly refined model.
