FW-44
Stieglitz
Slow

Biplane
trainer
In introducing
the FW-44 we are adding a biplane trainer to our range of slow-fly models.
In its full-size form the machine was employed as an aerobatic and training
aircraft in the 2nd World War. Lufthansa still owns a Stieglitz, and it
is used for demonstration flying.
Construction
of the model is based on moulded, fine-cell foam components, supplied already
painted, and is therefore very simple and fast. A multi-colour decal sheet
is provided in the form of a waterslide transfer, giving you a quick method
of decorating the model. A 1:4.5 reduction gearbox is included in the kit
as standard.
Equipped
with a Power 280 Slow Fly motor, 10 x 7 APC Slow Fly propeller and a 350
mAh 6-cell battery, the model is capable of convincingly scale-like flights.
